Six crazy guys, a white container and a world issue to solve. These three elements form the thrilling storyline of the TV program ‘IT STARTS WITH WATER’. In this dynamic documentary 1We-TV follows six Dutch entrepreneurs in Kenya who face the challenge to find a solution for what seems to become the largest world problem ever: access to clean drinking water, the ‘blue gold’ of the future. Main figure Ton Koens, the creative brain of an ingenious water unit, goes to the extreme to accomplish his mission. Not without a lot of obstacles. Will the six guys succeed in completing this adventure successfully?

The TV program ‘IT STARTS WITH WATER’ exposes a current global issue which will lead to a serious water crisis in this century. Next to the unbridled perseverance of a couple of unconventional entrepreneurs, it also shows the rich culture and nature of Kenya as one of the many countries which are facing the drinking water issue.
