'Welcome to Bangladesh' on national television in Bangladesh
 
The TV program ‘Welcome to Bangladesh’ has been broadcasted on national television in Bangladesh itself! Because of the positive approach of the film Ekushey Television (ETV), known as ‘the voice of the nation’ and the most popular TV channel in this country, broadcasted the documentary two times in November. The film shows the positive side of Bangladesh and the chances and possibilities of the country.
 
The film has already been broadcasted in England on The Business (Sky) Channel and on the Dutch national TV channel GoedTV appointed as ‘Program of the Month’. Meanwhile also TV stations in other countries have shown interest in the film. 
 

Muhammad Yunus
The teaser film is intended to stimulate consumers and entrepreneurs to take action towards a better world, together with 1We. We therefore interviewed amongst others Muhammad Yunus who became Nobel Peace Prize Winner with his micro credits in 2006, and former top model Bibi Russell who as a fashion designer gives over 35,000 weavers in the rural areas work. Moreover we visited the project SLOBP in the south of the country and spoke with founder Motalib Weijters. For two years he himself roamed as a street child before he was adopted by a Dutch couple.
