Mission Statement
1We - One World Experience is a social enterprise which inspires and co-creates explosive solutions for global social issues. We do this through: positive media (which creates positive energy), learn & educate (in the form of development projects which empower people) and meaningful experiences for all participants. 1WE HEAD OFFICE THE NETHERLANDS

To convert illustrative stories into crystal-clear text. Using words which touch people. That is where Brigitte stand for. Words are her thing, exploring social subjects her passion. Preferably with her hands deep in the mud in the slums of Bangladesh or eye to eye with former gang leaders in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. Everything for the good cause: a better world. "I lost my heart to 1We - One World Experience because of the innovative and creative approach of development cooperation.” 
Michiel Huisman - Treasurer A young entrepreneur with enormous potential. It was no surprise that he won the ‘Nyenrode Entrepreneurship Award 2005’ at the end of his studies at the Nyenrode Business University. Shortly after he started his own company Viqtor which provides capacity for the realisation of plans. That is why he feels right at home as a board member of 1We.
Arnold Beekes - Chief Symphony Officer As the Chief Symphony Officer of 1We Arnold will handle professionalizing the organization into a social enterprise. His specialty is combining personal growth and organizational development. To connect the head and the heart, 'I' and 'we'. "I like to integrate ideas from different disciplines or spheres into a coherent whole." One of his favorite quotes: “If you tell somebody something, he will forget. If you show him, he will remember. But only when you involve him, he will understand.” (Confucius) 
Edmond Sterk - Synergy Officer 1We The Chain The Netherlands As the Synergy Officer of 1We The Chain Edmond is the driving force behind the entrepreneur’s network of 1We - One World Experience in The Netherlands. His goal is to motivate corporate businesses to take action in supporting the 1We projects. The creative approach of the organization inspires him as well as the fact that as an entrepreneur you can participate in your own way. “We would like to accomplish an impact on every corner of the globe. By joining hands we are able to create a worldwide network which really makes the difference.” 
Azarja van Heerde - Cameraman Azarja involved himself in 1We - One World Experience as a Camera and Audio man. As he liked the work itself and the idea behind it, as a student in Audiovisual he decided to follow his final internship at 1We. With the 1We team he travelled to Bangladesh to film the TV program 'Welcome to Bangladesh'. He was so excited about this experience that he became a volunteer as a Cameraman .
Martijn Broeders - Web Designer
As a Designer, a Web Designer and a 3D designer Martijn had already been working for different agencies. In the year 2000 he was introduced to Robbert Hagens. When Robbert launched 1We - One World Experience, Martijn was enthusiastic and decided to show willingness for the idea. From that moment he designs and administers the websites of 1We. 
Marc Defares - Technical & Commercial Support Marc started his career as a Window dresser. Meanwhile he organizes whole re-buildings with Interior Design and Project Management as the main point. He also has a lot of experience in the retail world. His work for 1We - One World Experience started with the creation of a stand. Now he organizes several practical and commercial affairs for 1We.
Nancy, Anna and Marloes - interns
Nancy, Anna and Marloes are three interns of the age of 13 who have to do a voluntary internship at a charity for school. They’re now working on a website which is called 1We Young Creators. This website is meant for kids with different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. They can share their way of living by posting radio reports, texts, photo’s and video’s on the site. For the three girls this is their first internship and so far they love it!

Steven Kruit - Supervisor 1We Bangladesh Already four years Steven is living as an expat in Bangladesh. Like no other he knows the country, the people and the culture. As a Manager he has the experience to initialize, coordinate and control big projects. He is aware of the problems of the country, but on the other hand he sees the opportunities. This is the reason why the positive vision of 1We appeals to him.

Shaheen Alam - Project Leader 1We Slum Shops Bangladesh Peace is possible. This is what Shaheen from Bangladesh passionately believes in. To contribute to this peace, he studies Peace and Conflict Studies and commits himself with full surrender to 1We. His dream is to devote his life to humanitarian purpose, because, he says: “Only when all the poor of the world can lead at least a minimum standard of life, then we can say that peace prevails in the earth.” He finds his vision and mission back in 1We: to help and support poor, but promising people. 
Deedee Recter - Project Group 1We Bangladesh
After travelling around the world for many years Deedee now is living as an expat in Bangladesh. Originally from Canada she teaches Grade 1 at an international school in Dhaka. To contribute to the development of this country she got involved in 1We Bangladesh. Together with other international schools she would like to raise funds for the 1We projects in this country. 
Sarwar Jahan Bappi - Volunteer 1We Bangladesh Bappi lives in Bangladesh. He was attracted by the development projects of 1We - One World Experience which he had seen on the website. He contacted the organization and volunteered to be involved. He can really see the difference in the lives of the people who are involved in the 1We projects. “It really helps. It is the beginning of something much bigger. 1We will change the lives of many underprivileged people. I am proud to be part of that.”

Vanphouthon Souvannasane (USA) - Social Media Advisor / 1We The Chain New York Vanphouthon is the CEO and Creative Director of Yellow Peril Media, a social media marketing company based in the New York metropolitan area. He is a technology savvy, creative professional with over 15 years of broad experience in facilitating client and management communication in multimedia environments (print, web & film/video). He discovered 1We through his vast social network and is currently spearheading the effort to establish 1We The Chain New York in 2010 using social media as the driver. 1WE BRAZIL
